ART | 'Articulating Craft' and 'Stratum' 

Two fresh exhibits open this week at Nazareth College Arts Center. In the Arts Center Gallery, "Articulating Craft" is a national, juried group show exploring the ever-evolving look of contemporary craft, featuring works that combine tradition with inventive process, technique, and materials. An in the center's Colacino Gallery, Rebecca Aloisio's solo exhibit "Stratum" is filled with mixed media works concerned with form and spatial manipulation through digital appropriation and deconstruction.

"Articulating Craft" and "Stratum" open Friday, January 25, and continue through Friday, March 1, at Nazareth College Arts Center, 4245 East Avenue. An opening reception for both exhibits will be held with the artists on Friday, January 25, from 5-7 p.m. Arts Center Gallery hours are Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. Colacino Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free. 389-5073; artscenter.naz.edu.
