ART | 'Whose Woods These Are'

Image City Photography Gallery's current exhibit, "Whose Woods These Are," is a collection of photographs by David Bleich. Some of his images capture the haunting and dramatic temperate rain forest of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The rest of the images capture urban sights, in sharp contrast to the untouched, lush green of the forest. The exhibit will also feature works by visiting artist Lisa Cook, and guest photographers Jerry Miller, Bruce Elling, Amy Palermo, and Beth Quattrociocchi (in the Neuberger Gallery); and award-winning photographs from Camera Rochester competitions by Jerome Kaye, Tom Kredo, Nikhil Nagane, and Loni Titus. Image City's Artists in Residence will also have work on view.

Continues through Sunday, May 12, at Image City Photography Gallery, 722 University Avenue. A reception will be held Friday, April 26 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Free. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. 271-2540; imagecityphotographygallery.com.
