Artist Johnnie Lee Smith will be demonstrating painting in the Arts Division at the Central Library. Mr. Smith’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions, Post Magazine, and WXXI’s “Need to Know.” He has been commissioned to paint portraits of many African-American leaders, sells his own line of “JLS” clothing, volunteers with City youth, and teaches painting at the Memorial Art Gallery’s Creative Workshop in Rochester.
