An event geared toward girls, teens and young women—ages 12-22 years. The event will feature Beverly Bond, Founder and Director of Black Girls Rock and special guest, Nicole Paris, “Beat boxing,” YouTube sensation. The Marietta G. Avery Inspiring Woman Award will be presented to five young women who exemplify excellence in the areas of academics, talent and volunteerism.
