Re: “Portrait of a slave trader”

I enjoy reading the comment section to pieces such as this for I find it fascinating to read the different views people take away from articles such as this. What I find even more fascinating yet more so disturbing is...when people do not agree or as in this case, "dislike" what was said then just push on an icon and leave it at that.

I would think in what we call a intelligent society if one dislikes a comment one would utilize the power of their brain to state their rebuttal as to why.

Are we that lazy a society that we can only push a choice icon? or is it that those who press the icons do not have the capacity to think on a higher level?
