In this class, you will learn the basics of bookbinding to create beautiful yet functional notebooks for you or your friends. The course will cover two types of bookbinding stitches; pamphlet stitch and coptic (exposed) stitch. We will go over typically materials and techniques that you will need to create hand bound journals outside of the classroom. By the end of the class, you will be able to take home 2 journals.Taught by Rachael Gootnick, a local bookbinder and artisan.
