Scouts will learn about the many different types of veterinary medicine while also meeting some animals up close and speaking with the Zoo’s animal health staff to learn about what it takes to become a veterinary technician or veterinarian. Each scout will research a type of veterinary medicine, create a poster, and share their information with the rest of the group.

This experience will help fulfill requirements 1-6 of the merit badge.
