Despite the Equal Pay Act, U. S. women continue to be underpaid. At the moment, women are earning 80 cents for every dollar earned by a man in a similar job. The disparity for women of color is even worse. Even child care leave is paid differently for men and women! It’s time to take action inspired by our Rochester foremothers.
