Cantorial student, Gil Ezring, was selected as the 2015 recipient of the Richard W. Briskin Cantor-in-Residence Award, and is a seasoned musician, having performed as a soloist and as part of a jazz/rock ensemble, and as a composer, writing contemporary services for the synagogue. He will be accompanied by noted pianist Alla Kuznetsov.
