Goals are a huge part of our lives, as seen in the overwhelming amount of resolutions made every New Year. However, many only make it a month or so - sometimes even less - before giving up on those goals. Why is that? In the well-known book The Desire Map, Danielle LaPorte theorizes that we set goals the wrong way. We are not chasing the goal itself, but rather, a feeling that we believe the goal will give us.
