Chow Down Downtown showcases the living tapestry of the lunch hour bustle from sounds of a noontime concert to the smells of the diverse Downtown food scene. The event takes place across Center City as many Downtown restaurants offer specials for the occasion. Six food trucks and two food carts, as well as live music by the City employee blues band, The Bureau Cats, will be featured on Church Street between State and Fitzhugh Streets. The Mayor will be serving food from Effortlessly Healthy, one of the food vendors that will be parked outside City Hall.
