There will be many fun and educational activities for the whole family! Activities will include Civil War artifacts to see and touch; a storytelling performance of “Children of the Civil War” by the Genesee Storytellers; letter-writing to soldiers along with examples of actual Civil War letters; re-enactors; bugle calls; flag signals; soldiers’ camp; meet and listen to “Louisa May Alcott” tell stories and make a Little Women craft; genealogy; guest speaker Dennis Bielewicz, author of Heroes in the Attic; lectures about first ladies of the Civil War, plants of the Civil War, and a travelogue of some Civil War sites; and much, much more!
