Playing as part of the Rochester Celebrity Organ Recital Series, organist Edoardo Bellotti will put on a program of works by J.S. Bach, Pachelbel, Buxtehude, and others. Pieces will be performed at Christ Church, using both the Craighead-Saunders Baroque organ and the Hook & Hastings Romantic organ. Bellotti is an associate professor of organ, harpsichord, and improvisation at the Eastman School of Music. He has held prior faculty positions in Germany and Italy, and performs at festivals and concert venues around the world. He has performed the complete works of Cesar Franck and delivered the Italian premiere of "Satyagraha" by Philip Glass. A master class will also be offered by Bellotti on February 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Christ Church.
