A handful of comedians, all former Rochesterians, are back in town for the holidays, so they did what comes natural: put together a stand-up show. Hosted by Andrea Springer (who's working here in Rochester), "The Out-of-Towners" will feature Dewey Lovett, Zach Swan, Dario Joseph, and Nate Clark (all now based in New York City), Tim Almeter (living in Attica), and Mikey Heller, who's now in Los Angeles as a cartoonist and is a writer for Cartoon Network's "We Bare Bears." This will be a cool chance to catch up with some familiar, former faces on Rochester's comedy scene.
"The Out-of-Towners" will take place Friday, December 22, at Boulder Coffee, 100 Alexander Street. 8 p.m. $5 (all proceeds go to the Verona Street Animal Society). bouldercoffeeroaster.com.
