The Sunday Community Garage Sales, which run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., bring dozens of garage sale-type vendors together in one place, creating a huge variety of bargain collectibles and curiosities, as well as practical items such as clothing, tools, bicycles, sporting goods and much more. Individuals and organizations interested in selling items at the Market can rent a 10-by-30-foot vending space for $30 per event. Commercial vendors are also welcome. Vendor information and applications may be picked up at the Market office or obtained at www.cityofrochester.gov/garagesales, or call 428-6907 from 7 a.m. to noon, Tuesday through Friday for more information. In addition to the Sales, cafes and food stands on the grounds of the Market and in the Public Market District are open for business on these Sundays.
