Cost of war - 09.27.06 

The totals:

2702 US soldiers, 235 Coalition soldiers, and approximately 43,426 to 48,215 Iraqi civilians have been killed in Iraq from the beginning of the war and occupation to September 25.

4139 Iraqi police and guardsmen have been killed since January 2005, according to an estimate compiled from news reports.
