Cost of war - 12-27-06 

The totals:

2953 US soldiers, 247 Coalition soldiers, and approximately 51,331 to 56,869 Iraqi civilians have been killed in Iraq from the beginning of the war and occupation to December 19.

4592 Iraqi police and guardsmen have been killed since January 2005, according to an estimate compiled from news reports.
