Each student will create a small custom piece of artwork on a wooden plaque suitable for hanging and will enhance their designs with real gold leaf. Select from beautiful tree, monogram, and bird stencils or create your own abstract design in acrylic paint. At the end of the class, works will be suitable for taking home and enjoying immediately. During the class, the instructor will also discuss methods of applying gold leaf to other surfaces, such as canvas and art papers.
