Daily Choices: What to do on Friday, May 31 

Film: New movies opening in wide release today include "After Earth" and "Now You See Me." This week, the Dryden Theatre will screen "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid," "Gregory Crewdson: Brief Encounters," "Magnificent Obsession," "The Rules of the Game," and "The Tree of Life." Music/Food: Didn't get enough at Rochester's own food rodeo earlier this week? Good, because you can check out the Jazz and Food Rodeo tonight at the Penfield Amphitheater (3100 Atlantic Ave., Penfield). Event starts at 4:30 p.m. and is free to attend.

Art: Check out the "Shared Spaces 2013" exhibition of work by students and professors, held at Nazareth College Arts Center (4245 East Ave.) through June 14.
