MUSIC: Pop-rock outfit Minus the Bear will be bringing its floating, mystic melodies to Water Street Music Hall (204 N. Water St.) tonight, with long running group Cursive opening and kicking things off strong. Show starts at 8 p.m., tickets run $23-$25, and has all the info you could shake a bear at. Well, minus the bear. We'll be there as well, so keep an eye tomorrow for photos from the show.

MUSIC: How can you not get behind a band named Monkey Junk? Coming to us from Ottawa, Canada, the blues-rocking group will be playing tonight at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (99 Court St.) at 9:30 p.m. for a free show. Grab some ribs (and, I suppose, a bib) and enjoy visiting the bluesy deep South via Canada.
