DANCE | Chamber Ballet

The second season of Chamber Ballet Brockport takes place this week, with a concert offered on Friday, April 15, and Saturday, April 16, at the Rose L. Strasser Studio (Hartwell Hall, Kenyon Street, The College at Brockport). Artistic Director Vanessa Van Wormer and Music Director Andrew Alden have curated a program that features choreography by multiple guest artists, including New York City-based choreographer Kate Griffler, with her percussive piece, "The Known Road." The shows will include performances by students from The College at Brockport Department of Dance and Eastman School of Music and faculty from the Hochstein School of Music and Dance.

The concerts will take place at 7:30 p.m. each evening. A $5 donation is requested, and tickets are available at the door. Proceeds will benefit future programming and community outreach by Chamber Ballet Brockport. For more information, call 395-2153, or visit brockport.edu.
