How much money would it be to plant 8 acres of grass and call it a day? This way if in another 7-8 years it's been taking to do nothing with the land people can enjoy it.
Yet in the last several years why not have a non-binding vote on the land? See what the people think in general.

Strong Museum of Play isn't really getting an expansion, which is much needed, but just adding a parking lot and a hotel, neither of which is really needed.
And Parcel 5 has been empty for the last 4-5 years without construction. Grass would would grown great in that time.

GeezLouise, everything Rochester does is for the rich trust fund brats and bros. Let's give condo developers tens of million in tax cuts every year while the homeless live in a tent city that gets 100 inches of snow a year with an average high in winter of 25.
But those rich bros need their 'market rate' houses and free parking!
