Dikki Du AKA Troy Carrier is son of the Zydeco Legend Roy Carrier. Roy Carrier helped spread the love of Zydeco by touring constantly throughout the USA packing the shows with an infectious one-two punch, his warm engaging joyful personality combined with his soulful blues driven Zydeco groove. Roy passed through Rochester many times, culminating in the famed Showdown in Flower Town, a Blues-Zydeco double bill with Joe Beard in 2008.
