April is Autism Awareness Month and WXXI is proud to host two sensory-sensitive screenings of a brand-new episode of The Jim Henson Company’s Dinosaur Train. WXXI’s sensory-sensitive screening event will allow families to enjoy watching Dinosaur Train in a safe and inclusive environment. The screening will take place in a “lights-up, sound-down” environment so that kids can be themselves without worrying if someone will be disturbed by their noise or movement.
