AARP Driver Safety Course
Part 1: Friday, November 1, 10 AM-1 PM
Part 2: Friday, November 8, 10 AM-1 PM
A two-part classroom driver refresher course designed for drivers aged 50 and over. Cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non members, payable at the first class (only checks accepted). Must have a valid New York state license. Drivers need to attend both classes to get certificate.

Navigators from the Literacy Volunteers of Rochester provide free on-site, drop-in service to participants who require assistance with technology. Navigators assist participants with a range of needs from learning a new computer skill to completing an important computer related task such as creating a resume or cover letter, completing a job application or filling out online forms. No registration. First come first serve.

Free English as a New Language tutoring. Build your skills in speaking, vocabulary, reading, and writing in friendly, one-on-one or small group sessions. Materials are provided. Children can attend a story hour at the library at the same time. Presented by Learning Links of Fairport. Limited to 15 participants. Registration is recommended but not required.

Free class to prepare adults for the United States Citizenship Test. Instruction is given in U.S. history, reading, writing, and vocabulary needed to pass the test. Materials are provided. Did I save enough, am I invested properly, what do I do with my 401(k) and or pension plan? In this seminar, I will identify what your world of investment choices looks like, defining a clear path to balance Safety, Income and Growth in your portfolio. This seminar includes a review of all possible income sources (pensions, social security, investments, 401(k)s, annuities, real estate etc) and how they work together to create your retirement income plan. All attendees receive a complimentary Retirement Handbook and Investment Guide. Presented by Jeffrey Douglass, Financial Advisor.
