Wall Street started 2018 strong with stocks climbing to new highs in the first quarter of the year. By October, the market entered a volatile skid with the S&P 500 Index losing 6% from the prior year. In this seminar we discuss the reasons for 2018s unpredictable performance, what to expect in 2019 and then tie all this into your own investments. We will discuss risk tolerance, asset allocation, and diversification, helping you understand how they relate to your portfolio. I present several actions you can take to protect your investments in a period of volatility and rising interest rates. All attendees receive a complimentary guidebook on investing. AARP Safety Driving Course
Part 1 will take place on Friday, February 8 followed by part 2 on Friday, February 15. Both classes will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Library’s Community Room.
A two-part classroom driver refresher course designed for drivers aged 50 and over. Cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members, payable at the first class (only checks accepted) and must have a valid New York state license. Drivers need to attend both classes to get certificate. Registration is required.

Interviewing at 50+: The Right Answers to the Wrong Questions
