Genealogy Club Monday, July 15, 2:00 PM-3:30 PM. An informal afternoon of research and discussion. Local history and genealogy enthusiasts young and old, experienced and newbies are welcome. Together we research and explore our family histories. This month we will discuss Germany Ancestry, presented by Larry Naukam. No registration.

The Truth Online: It Does Exist Wednesday, July 17, 7:00 PM-8:00 PM. This workshop is a basic introduction into the world of evaluating online information resources. In this workshop we will learn to evaluate a website for currency, relevance, authority, accuracy, and purpose. Current events will also be discussed. Taught by Miranda Stefano.

Gazebo Concert Series: Hypnotic Clambake Thursday, July 18, 7:00 PM-8:00 PM. Since 1990, Hypnotic Clambake has been a welcome part of the Upstate, NY music scene and continues to find appreciative audiences throughout New York State and beyond. Music ranges from polkas, tangos, zydeco, and klezmer-all mixed with a twist of lime and an original sound. Travelogue: South Africa, a Bucket List Dream Tuesday, July 23, 1:00 PM-2:00 PM. Avid travelers Maureen and Doug Robb will present an armchair travelogue to South Africa. You will travel from Cape Town to Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia and see the spectacular natural wonder, Victoria Falls, one of the most impressive waterfalls in the world.

Keep Cool in the Kitchen with Storybook Cook Liz Bauld Wednesday, July 24, 7:00 PM-8:30 PM. When it's hot outside, no one wants to cook using the stove, oven or sometimes, even the grill. Join Liz Bauld, The Storybook Cook, tonight as she makes some great entrees without heating up your kitchen. As always, generous food samples are provided.

Gazebo Concert Series: 78 RPM Thursday, July 25, 7:00 PM-8:00 PM. 78RPM is a 16 piece big band based out of Dansville, NY and performs in Monroe, Ontario, Livingston, Wyoming, and Genesee counties. Starting out as the Happy Wanderers (an Oktoberfest band) in 1973 under the sponsorship of the Jackson Hose Fire Company with clarinetist Joseph LaBarbera directing, the group has morphed over its 40 year tenure to become a solid big band apt in many styles. 78RPM features numerous vocal numbers, great soloists, catchy dance tunes, and a dedication to a craft of the jazz orchestra. The Gazebo Concert series is co-sponsored by the Fairport Public Library and the Perinton Recreation and Parks Department. Seating is limited and we encourage you to bring your own lawn chair.
