FESTIVAL | Corn Hill Arts Festival 

The Corn Hill Arts Festival will celebrate its 45th year on Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, with hundreds of fine arts and craft vendors, and an entertainment schedule that includes a mix of exciting new acts and festival favorites. The two-day event takes place Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in the historic Corn Hill neighborhood, and will feature four stages with 29 live performances, including Herb Gross and The Invictas, The Mambo Kings, and Todd East.

Other festival features include refreshment vendors, the Emerging Artists Expo section of booths, as well as The Emerging Artists for Entertainers program, which will include 18-year-old singer/songwriter Young Fleck, pop-rock band Mochester, and alternative rockers Bendix. Children. The young-at-heart will delight in the Fairy House Tour, an exhibit of whimsical habitats crafted from natural materials for the fairies, comprised of submissions from artists of all ages. The exhibit is inspired by the popular Fairy Houses Series of books by Tracy Kane, who will be present at the festival to read from her stories, chat with visitors, and autograph books. Festival-goers can build their own fairy house at the festival in a grassy area beside the exhibit.
