Courthouse Girls of Farmland is a story about a small Indiana town and seven senior women who made a bold statement about historic preservation. Upset about plans to destroy the town’s 1877 courthouse, they posed for a fundraising calendar that sparked a firestorm of controversy. It won the First Place Audience Award at the 2008 Breckenridge Film Festival. It was the pre-conference highlight for the 27th annual conference of the Landmark Society and Preservation League of New York State held in Brockport last year.
