FILM | 'The Muppets' 

Now in its fifth year, Movies With a Downtown View is a free outdoor movie night held downtown and presented by the City of Rochester. Food trucks, music, and giveaways are the introduction to the main event: a screening of a popular movie with the night sky as a backdrop. The Friday, August 17, event will be a viewing of the 2011 movie "The Muppets," (PG) starring Amy Adams and Jason Segel. An ASL interpreter will be available at the event, and the movie will be captioned.

"The Muppets" will be screened at Martin Luther King Jr Park, 353 Court Street, on August 17. The event starts at 7 p.m., with the movie will staring around 8:15 p.m. Free. rocwashingtonsquare.org/mwadv.
