FILM | "Tough Guise 2" Screening and Talkback

Monroe Community College, on Wednesday, April 5, will host a screening of "Tough Guise 2: Violence, Manhood, and Pop Culture," a documentary probing the relationship between our culture of violence and the skewed definitions of manhood perpetrated by the media and society at large. On hand for a discussion following the screening will be the film's creator, violence prevention educator and author Jackson Katz.

The event is one of several programs being held Monday, April 3, through Friday, April 7, at MCC as part of Enough is Enough, a national campaign to promote peace and prevent youth violence on campuses and in communities. The "Tough Guise 2" screening will take place at the MCC Theatre on the Brighton Campus, 1000 East Henrietta Road, and begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available for purchase before the film or online at resolve-roc.org.
