Author, designer, and educator Christine Froehlich will share her July 2016 trip to two grand country estates, Naumkeag and The Mount, (owned by Mabel Choate and Edith Wharton, respectively) and their beautiful and distinct landscapes. The talk is organized by the Flower City Garden Network (www.flowercitygardennetwork.com), a not-for-profit all-volunteer organization made up of gardening educators and enthusiasts. Our aim is to create a network connecting gardeners in order to share information and inspiration, and to foster a sense of community, through learning about gardening from experienced instructors, visits to local gardens and nature preserves, and community service.
