Join the Rochester Flute Association for an interactive jazz flute workshop. Morning workshop is designed for young flutists in grades 4-8 or NYSSMA levels 1-3. Explore the building blocks of jazz and jazz improvisation, and discover the differences and similarities to classical forms. Ear training will be emphasized, and all participants will construct and play their own improvised ideas in a safe and fun environment.
