FOLK | Turtle Hill Folk Festival 

It's all things folk for the folks at this year's Turtle Hill Folk Festival. Hosted by Golden Link Folk Singing Society, the three-day fest features camping, fireside sing-alongs, workshops, and performances by Reggie Harris and Scott Ainslie; Bruce Molsky with Allison de Groot; my personal favorite, the hilarious Christine Lavin; and many more. If you have an urge for fiddle and banjo music, or you just have a sweet spot for an earnest singer with a guitar, this is your kind of event.

The Turtle Hill Folk Fest happens Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 9, at Rotary Sunshine Campus, 809 Five Points Road, Rush, 5:30 p.m. on Friday; 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. $18-$85. 857-9265.
