Genesee Valley Orchestra & Chorus (GVOC) will cap a successful 40th season with a selection of music that celebrates decades of bringing people together through great performances. This concert is a delightful assortment of classical and contemporary music. A very special part of these concerts will be the presentation of GVOC’s first ever commissioned piece, entitled “898 Hildegard” which is inspired by and dedicated to our past and founder, Sister Virginia Hogan. Also featured in this concert are works by Mahler, Elgar, Tallis, Arvo Pärt and Max Richter.
