When: Thu., Feb. 11, 6 p.m. 2021
Email: CADGalleries@rit.edu
A discussion about how Felix Gonzalez-Torres's interactive and site-specific "candy spill" installations invite participation and reflection, and how his work both challenges and accepts the limits of modern art institutions in the forums of equality, inclusivity and justice. Joined by special guest Joshua Takano Chambers-Letson, Professor of Performance Studies at Northwestern University, and accompanied by a live graphic artist who will be creating a visual recording of the discussion. Details here.
