Rochester is proud to be home to internationally acclaimed Garth Fagan Dance. For years Garth Fagan Dance and the Garth Fagan Children's Ensemble have delighted audiences with their performances. More recently, Garth Fagan Dance has collaborated with Carlson Metrocenter YMCA to create Stop the Violence Dance Alliance, a free after-school dance and healthy living program for youth enrolled in the Rochester City School District. This free program offers fantastic dancing, and a chance to learn about the Garth Fagan method and see the positive impact that dance is having on Rochester youth.
