Ed Evans will present a program about the Civilian Conservation Corps established in 1935 located in Hamlin, New York. This program was set up by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to develop America's National and State Parks and it's natural resources. It provided jobs for young men 18-25 who were unemployed and single. During WWII it was used as a Prisoner of War camp. After the War it was neglected until 2008 when new interest arose. Come and hear what's going on with this land now.
