Junior Friends: Tuesday September 10, 4:00 – 5:00PM.
The Junior Friends are library volunteers ages 9 - 16 who meet year-round and help the library with book sales, programs, and decorations, among other fun things. We also get involved with community service activities.
Baby Sing, Sign, and Play: Wednesday, September 11, 10:15 – 10:45 AM.
For ages 6 – 24 months with a caregiver. We use music, books and other playful activities to help tots and adults learn simple ASL signs for pre-verbal communication. No registration necessary. Walk-ins welcome.

We all know healthy nutrition is the key to healthy bodies and healthy minds. It’s no secret that eating well boosts mood, energy, and mental functioning. This class will teach how to make small, simple changes to your overall eating pattern that can help you and your family stay healthy. You will learn the basics of good nutrition and making healthy food and drink choices and receive educational handouts and recipes. Please register.

In this educational presentation, parents will learn valuable tips about the college search, scholarships, the college financial process, and New York’s Free-Tuition Program for public and private colleges. Most importantly, we will discuss what parents can do to help their children minimize overwhelming student loan debt. This presentation is ideal for parents of high school students in grades 9 – 12.
