The word 'Himmeli' is from German descent and means 'sky' or 'heaven.' Himmeli is a type of mobile made of small pipes or straws and wire. Traditionally himmeli ornaments have been used in Nordic countries as Christmas decorations but they're beautiful for any time of year. In this class there will be enough copper pipe and wire to make one himmeli ornament per person. If you wish to make more than one, there will be extra plastic straws and wire available.
