GVOCtet - A wind octet - will perform at the Irondequoit Library on Sunday, November 1, from 2-3 PM in room (#113). To find out what a wind octet sounds like listen to octets written by Mozart, his contemporary Franz Krommer plus an adaptation of three Scott Joplin ragtime tunes. GVOCtet includes 8 members of the wind section of the Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus (GVOC), directed by Dr. Christopher Petit.
