On December 6th & 7th, GVOC will present A Christmas Garland a program featuring Bach’s Cantata 140 (‘Sleepers Wake’), a “fable with music” from In dulci jubilo: Brother Heinrich’s Christmas, John Rutter and Conrad Susa’s medley of carols, A Christmas Garland and an excerpt from Mendelssohn’s Christus. Christmas spirituals and instrumental favorites will round out this delightful holiday program.
