Hardcore | Emery

Emery vocalist Devin Shelton has gone in a more R&B direction with his side band, Devinitely, but will take a step back to his roots for this show to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Emery's 2004 release "The Weak's End." This post-hardcore band got its kick start in 2001 in Rock Hill, South Carolina before making the move west to Seattle.

Emery performs with The Classic Crime, This Wild Life, and Peace Mercutio Thursday, October 31, 7 p.m., at the Bug Jar, 219 Monroe Ave., $18-$20, bugjar.com.
