In this 2-hour outdoor class, local history and historic preservation experts from The Landmark Society’s Young Urban Preservationists (YUPs) will lead you on a walking tour of Neighborhood of the Arts and East Avenue. You’ll learn how these neighborhoods developed; why the streets and architecture look the way they do; and how you can apply this newfound knowledge in analyzing and understanding the development of other Rochester neighborhoods.
