Miss Cassano will perform the Concerto in D Major, Op. 9 by Tomaso Albinoni. She is a freshman at Pittsford Mendon High School where she enjoys math, science, and Spanish. Prior to joining the HYSO Miss Cassano was a member of the Hochstein Philharmonia for two years and in the summers played with the Brighton Symphony Orchestra. Miss McCarthy performs the Concerto in C Major, mvmt. 1 by Dimitri Kabaelvsky. She is a sophomore at Brighton High School where she participates in All-County and All-State Festivals as well as in theatre productions. This is Miss McCarthy’s 5th year in Hochstein youth orchestras and she is the HYSO Concertmaster this year.
