HOLIDAY | TUBACHRISTMAS

A unique holiday tradition, TUBACHRISTMAS will bring yuletide cheer with unlikely, low-range instruments. TUBACHRISTMAS has been a Rochester fixture for more than three decades, with 150-plus musicians set to perform exclusively on tubas and euphoniums. For this joyous set of Christmas carols, conducted by Jeremy Stoner, it really is "all about that bass." The audience is encouraged to sing along.

TUBACHRISTMAS takes place Saturday, December 9, at Eastman Theatre's Kodak Hall, 60 Gibbs Street. 4 p.m. Free; seats will be available on a "first come, first served" basis. 274-3000; eastmantheatre.org; rochestertubachristmas.org.
