May 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st at 7:30 p.m. and June 1st at 2:00 p.m. This May, OFC Creations and the Rochester Latino Theatre Company (RLTC) will perform “In the Heights,” a Pulitzer-prize nominated musical that takes you deep in to the lives of residents in a primarily Hispanic neighborhood in New York’s Washington Heights. The show that first took Broadway by storm in 2008 explores the universal themes of finding the freedom to be ourselves and discovering our place in the world. This exciting musical will have audiences dancing in their seats as they experience a variety of musical styles including vibrant, freestyle rap, rhythmic salsa, soaring ballads and powerful Latin-inspired grooves.
