"This e-mail below is a gem. Part of my duties at the label is to purchase tickets to our artists' shows for 'marketing purposes.' These tickets usually just end up being for industry types. So, below is a thank you message from a recent Gipsy Kings ticket purchase, where I bought a pair of tix for a television producer..."

Subject: Thank You

Hi Josh,

I just wanted to thank you again for all of your help last with the Gipsy Kings tickets. The seats were great and I appreciate all of the energy you devoted to helping me with it. If you're ever in LA and want to see 'Judge Judy' you're all set!

Thanks,

KH

"Nonesuch NEVER does music videos, but we picked up this great group from Mali (West Africa) called Amadou & Mariam, and they had already shot this video while in Africa (the song is called "Senegal Fast Food"). So, we figured, why not try to get the thing placed? We submitted it to a bunch of music video outlets, and we got this message back today from our video promotion woman. Please keep in mind that the music video was shot in Africa."

Good news! The Senegal Fast Food video was accepted for MTV-U.

This is not an add yet, but its a good start!

They have requested the following edits on the video:

There is a bare breast at 1:59 in the video - this shot needs to be taken out.

There is some writing in French on people's faces, can we get that in English?
