To celebrate the International Day of Peace, local artist Katie Jo Suddaby will be here to construct a sand mandala on that theme. Students are invited to stop by and learn how to do this sand art at several practice tables and then join Katie Jo in making the peace mandala. At 3 pm, Katie Jo will lead the group in the destruction ceremony. During the time that the mandala is being made, the labyrinth will be open in Hirst Lounge for meditative walking.
