A beginning course in the fundamentals of acting, establishing a working vocabulary and acquiring the basic skills of the acting process using Chekhov’s qualities of movement. Through exercises and improvisations, participants will explore the imagination as the actor’s primary resource, and the basic approach to text through action. This workshop will focus on beginning scene study with an emphasis on exploring action/objective and the given circumstances of a selected text.
